Hello All,

How have you been spending your time in quarantine? I decided to come out of my comfort zone and try TikTok. I made several TikTok videos during the past few months, and I’m excited to share them with you. I did one with my son where he claims he’s “cringing”, but I want him to feel comfortable in his skin. I used to hate watching videos of myself, as we are our own biggest critic. Putting yourself out there can be scary, but liberating at the same time.

Online Challenges allow you to stay connected with your friends.

#PassTheDateChallenge

Since it was Ramadan my friends and I created the pass the date challenge video. It’s basically a “virtual iftar” since we have not been able to attend any gatherings. I think this is a great way to keep that strong bond with your friends.

#DontRushChallenge

Lastly, Houston’s “it” girls created our own version of the infamous #dontrushchallenge.

Participating in this fun challenge was a blogger (myself), two influencers (Krupali and Natalie), a Beauty Pageant Queen (Blaine Ochoa- Miss Houston), two entrepreneurs (Jessica Daboul of Skynn and Sukaina Rajani of Macarons by Patisse), and lastly Dr. Lizzie Andrews, the granddaughter of Former President George HW Bush and Maria Bush’s daughter.

So, I encourage you to go out there connect and have some fun with your friends! Comment below and share.
